After School Assistants
Lochinver House School runs a fun and friendly Teatime Club which is available to pupils in Reception to Year 3 from 3-6pm Monday to Friday term time only. We seek a Deputy Teatime Manager and a Teatime Club Assistant to join our team where staff are expected to:

  • Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils
  • Assist in the promotion of development and learning (physical, social, emotional and behavioural)
  • Be vigilant and mindful of any pastoral issues and keep relevant members of staff informed
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times
  • Pass on any relevant information to parents and staff
  • Attend to pupils involved in minor accidents or incidents and look after the hygiene and health requirements
  • Maintain the order and cleanliness of the Teatime Club

In order to apply for this role you need to:

  • Have experience working with young children, preferably in a similar role in a school environment.
  • Have a childcare qualification Level 3 or above
  • Qualified to GCSE Level or above and have grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Paediatric first aid training desirable but training will be given.
