Berthold Technologies UK Ltd 

Part Time Accounts Administrator 

Expected 22hrs/week, 25 days holiday raising to 30 

Salary level £20,000 to £26,000 + annual bonus, pro-rata 

 

Due to a pending retirement we are looking for an Accounts Administrator who has an attention to detail and a flexible approach to join our small team of longstanding employees. As a small company working in a specialised market the position provides a diverse range of interest aspects requiring a mature and adaptable approach with a desire to learn. 

 

Key responsibilities 

Maintain all aspects of the company accounts including purchase, sales ledgers, cash flow, inventory, expenses, VAT returns, and monthly reporting.  

Liaison with customers regarding accounts payable and accounts receivable 

Liaison with our German colleagues based in our parent company office. 

 

Additional responsibilities 

Supporting the small team of Administrators in the office 

Assisting in support of all employees and customers as part of the general office administration 

Placing orders on suppliers, both UK and international. 

General office duties. 

Answering the telephone. 

 

We are looking for a candidate with: 

Some experience of accounts administration. 

Polite, courteous with a confident telephone manner 

Numerate, English literate with excellent attention to detail. 

Confident computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, bookkeeping/accounting software) 

Good time management and organisational skills 

Self-motivated with flexible nature and a willingness to learn 

 

  • The position is Part Time (expected 22hrs per week). 
  • Salary is £20k to £26k pa pro-rata depending on experience. 

  • In addition an annual bonus scheme is provided based on the overall company performance.

  • Holiday allowance is 25 days rising to 30 days with time in service.

  •  Health Insurance after 1 years service 

  • Pension up to 10% employer/10% employee 

  • Death in Service package 
 

 

The position is based at our Harpenden office.
