We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Home Manager for our clients nursing Home, in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
The nursing home is a magnificent home providing exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care in the heart of Lowestofts residential community. It is close to golden beaches and Lowestofts amenities. It has beautiful well-maintained gardens and a high-quality interior, yet retains a genuine feeling of homeliness, which is experienced by all who visit them. Using their person centred approach they develop a bespoke care programme for each individual.

The 65 bedded home has a stable staff team who are passionate and caring about their work.  

The successful candidate will support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.

The role will be 40 hours per week at a pay rate of £21.00 per hour. 
Shifts will be split between working in the office and on the floor, depending on the homes needs. You will be expected to work some weekends and to be on call.


In order to be considered for this exciting role as Deputy Home Manager/Clinical Lead, you will have the following skills & experience:

> alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
> you will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

A nursing qualification RGN/RMN with an active NMC Pin
The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
Good working knowledge of CQC standards
The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.


Our client offers an excellent remuneration package including a pay rate of £21 per hour
