PTS Track Operatives - TES 2000 are a highly regarded contractor to the rail industry and we are currently recruiting for PTS Track Operatives to be based in Manchester for Casual Weekend Work.

TES 2000 undertakes a range of services on Network Rails infrastructure including the delivery of track renewal projects. As a PTS Track Operative, you will be responsible for working within a safety critical environment and carrying out possession support duties under the direction of the (S)PICOP or relevant supervisor. Working on a casual basis, should you be successful, you will be fully trained in many areas of the possession operation, including: Blocking points and placing marker boards and detonators to take possession.

You must hold a full (ideally clean) driving licence with your own transport. Ideally you should have the following knowledge and experience:

- In depth knowledge of Railway rules and regulations
- In depth knowledge of possession requirements
- Good geographical knowledge
- Problem solving skills
- Able to commit to Weekend shifts Friday to Monday
- Hold PTS, COSS/IWA and PSS competencies (or be able to commit to being put through the courses to become qualified)

Here at TES 2000 we are offering the ideal candidates, full training including PTS which is a fantastic opportunity for casual work within the rail industry. This position is safety critical and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.

Shifts will be a variation of Days and Nights over Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Appropriate notice will be given for required cover. On offer is a salary of £13-£16.50 per hour depending on shift times.
