We are looking for a Site Manager for a leading international manufacturer. You will be responsible for managing all production and distribution activity on site; ensuring that the planning, execution and continuous improvement of the manufacturing and distribution processes all run smoothly and efficiently. The business has a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity, and it is expected that the successful candidate will drive improvements in these disciplines.

Reporting to the Operations Director you will have accountability for all operational activities of the facility including site budget. You will need to be an independent and driven senior manager with the ability to autonomously lead the site in achieving its growth and productivity plans.Ensuring all resources are aligned to delivering the site goals. Setting, monitoring and reacting to achieve targets for safety, quality, productivity, OEE, stock availability, customer service, and cost.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 10 years of senior manufacturing management experience.

• Experience of managing warehousing and inventory controls.

• Strong team building, coaching and stakeholder management experience,

• Able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational development capabilities with the ability to inspire, implement and drive change; whilst maintaining and improving employee engagement.

• Minimum 5 years of Lean Six Sigma experience, together with a track record of using these skills to drive business improvement. Minimum requirement Green Belt.

• Numerate with good data analysis skills. Competent with Microsoft Office skills.

• Experience of maintaining ISO9000, ISO14000 and OHSAS18001 quality standards.

• Educated to graduate level with an Engineering/Business/Operations Degree or time-served equivalent
