Our client is looking for an exceptional Sales Manager for their national sales accounts. Tasked with expanding the business interests within the UKs Food Beverage and Industrial refrigeration sectors, this is a rare opportunity which would be exciting to anyone who is looking to make a long term commitment to a business that will reward loyalty.

Role Profile

If you are to prove that you have what it takes, you will be able to demonstrate that you can:

Motivate and drive the refrigeration team.
Aid and support the team in achieving financial sales targets
Interact fully at the appropriate level with new and existing clients, ensuring relationships are both initiated and maintained by you.
Collate market data to increase growth and knowledge of the market.
Seek out new business opportunities, in the specified markets so that you and the sales teams can satisfy demand.
Prepare quotations with the sales team to ensure they are submitted and followed-up professionally and in a timely manner, maximising quotation conversion including:

Producing accurate and detailed tenders for clients that show the elimination of technical, contractual and financial risks.
Produce detailed cost and tender assessment documentation for financial vulnerability and security of the contract.
Ensuring all new sales opportunities are in accordance with EC regulations in regards to technical specifications and associated cost estimates.

Ensure that Customer requirements must be correctly interpreted with contract terms and conditions negotiated and fully understood.
Work within limits of authority for negotiation as well as accountability for missed opportunities with reasoning.
Maintain customer contact throughout the execution of the contract agreed. Guaranteeing customer satisfaction and assist when necessary in cash collection and debt resolution.
Use Company CRM system to submit sales and marketing reports.
Carry out additional duties as required.

Key Skills

High Degree of industrial contracting knowledge
HNC/HND/Degree in mechanical, electrical or thermodynamic discipline or experience related skills
Significant sales experience within industrial refrigeration contracting industry
Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications Word, Excel etc.

Person Profile

Be positive with an excellent ability to work under pressure, provide effective solutions to meet customer requirements.
A team player with a strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems
Excellent time management skills, juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
