MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
CONTRACT TYPE: CONTRACT
LOCATION: Bromley
SALARY: £23- £28
SHIFT:Days (Mon-Fri) additional hours available

Job description:
“As a maintenance engineer
• To work in a manner that reflects equal opportunities values whilst considering the needs of colleagues and customers.
• Providing high standards of quality whilst promoting, building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
• Identifying training needs relevant to the job and participating in any training and development as required.
• Maintaining high levels of personal motivation, attendance and conduct.

Roles and responsibilities of a maintenance engineer
• Breakdown and planned maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Electrically your experience must include three phases, inverters, control panels, sensors and experience of at least Fault Finding on PLC controlled machinery, Systems knowledge would also be an advantage
• Mechanically you will be required to have hands on mechanical experience working within a high-volume environment with experience working off pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, valves.

Requirements of a maintenance engineer
• A UK recognised engineering qualification.
• Apprentice trained would be an advantage.
• Experience of a multi-skilled engineering environment.
• Plastics/ FMCG / Food experience ideal.
• Knowledge of PLC controlled machinery.
