Subject Leader of Media Studies – Blackfen School for Girls


A successful 11-18 girls school and sixth form with academy status is looking for a passionate Subject Leader of Media Studies teacher to join their strong and supportive department.  The school has been rated as “Good” by Ofsted and focuses on developing their students into responsible and confident citizens who are ready to play an active role in the wider community.  The school boasts of a clean, tidy and bright working environment where staff and students work closely together.    

The school is seeking to recruit an experienced Subject Leader of Media Studies teacher to join their thriving Media department. The role provides an exciting opportunity to teach BTEC Media as well as A Level to their sixth form students.  You will have the ability to build rapport and engage all pupils, ensuring that their learning is maximised and results are achieved.

The school believe in developing their staff and have a dynamic and supportive management team and an effective induction and CPD programme.
