Registered Estates Manager (Assisted Living)

Welwyn Garden City

Start at £33,250 per annum (with bonus and paid overtime plus supplement opportunity based on experience)

I am working with a provider of luxury assisted living apartments who are looking for a Registered Estates Manager to join their team at a beautiful development in Welwyn Garden City.

This is a busy role and will include responsibility for the care and support provided, as well as estate management.

This role will involve:

* Acting as CQC Registered Manager for the scheme and ensuring compliance with CQC registration, regulations and guidance

* Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the development

* Managing the promotion of domiciliary care services to residents

* Assessing the support and care requirements of prospective and maintaining records as appropriate

* Undertaking regular reviews of residents’ requirements in liaison with families and other professionals where appropriate

* Assisting in the internal audit and quality assurance processes and provides a high quality care, support and estate management function for the residents

* Ensuring that all repairs are attended to promptly

* Ensuring equipment maintenance and redecoration programmes are completed on schedule with the minimum disruption to the residents

* Monitoring budgetary systems for meals, food, domestic assistance and personal care

* Promoting the development and the assisted living brand within the local community

* Assisting with the resale of apartments by arranging to show interested parties around the development

For this exciting role you will need:

* QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent

* Competency in Microsoft Outlook

* The ability to work alternate weekends

* Experience of working with older people and an understanding the needs of older people

* Experience of working in an operational management role

* Knowledge of the statutory and regulatory requirements and their relevance to the post

* Experience of assessments and care planning
