Digital Experience Manager

* You will be accountable for the management and delivery of the user experience online through all devices.

* Ensure that the customer journey is seamlessly integrated with those in other channels, such as: advertising, digital marketing, printed publications and stores.

* Be responsible for increasing customer satisfaction measures and directly driving online sales by increasing conversion rates on web and mobile sites.

* Be responsible for the look and feel of the site, ensuring content and templates are optimised with both customer and SEO benefits in mind.

What you'll do

* Provide business analysis input to website development team, ensuring business needs are translated into high-level specifications.

* Development ownership of 3rd party suppliers when developments are being scoped/developed and deployed in conjunction with the web development agency.

* Managing the Jira backlog and prioritising change requests with the developers.

* Testing of new releases of bug fixes and UAT.

* Develop and own the Site development plan ensuring critical paths are communicated and deadlines met.

* Work with SEO agency to ensure all developmental and content changes deliver best SEO practice.

* Management of payments including gateway and finance ensuring all branches can transact using all current and future payment methods.

* A/B testing and analysis using tools such as GA and hotjar to create new proven developments and increase site performance.

* Lead a highly customer-focused team consisting of 1 UX/UI Designer and 1 Front End Developers with support from external agencies and suppliers. Following Agile Working principles and practices to liaise with Group IT throughout development to ensure customer requirements are interpreted correctly.

* Accountable for the successful end-to-end project management and delivery of customer experience projects, with an emphasis on highly effective stakeholder management across a variety of teams to achieve this.

* Ensure that appropriate testing and measurement is in place for all customer experience projects and that they are successfully delivered against their objectives, reaching the target customer with the right message in the most appropriate way for the medium.

* Be accountable and responsible for owning and managing the UX budget including cost saving.

The skills you'll need

* Significant digital experience is essential.

* Proficient use of Google Analytics.

* Proficient in Creative cloud, Sketch and Axure.

* Understanding of CSS & HTML.

* Sound understanding of UX principles and best practice.

* Experience of working with personalisation tools or page testing software.

* Experience of working with and managing external agencies.

* Ability to plan, prepare, manage and run meetings successfully. Asserting appropriate levels of control in all circumstances and ensuring meeting objectives are met and documented as required.

* Experienced working with technical teams and developers to solve technical issues

* Great communication skills, able to translate technical terminology to business stakeholders.

* Passion and drive to keep up-to-date with UX and the digital world
