Disability Assessor/Analyst - Independent Assessment Services Full or part-time hours available Competitive salary and excellent benefits New exciting job opportunity as a Disability Assessor/Analyst suitable for qualified Nurses (RGN, RMN and RNLD), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics. Are you an experienced practitioner keen to further develop your skills? Are you an excellent communicator, highly motivated and flexible? We have an exciting opportunity to train and qualify as a Disability Analyst as part of a successful integrated team. We currently have opportunities in the Hitchin area to achieve that much desired work/life balance. PIP is designed to help towards some of the extra costs incurred when someone lives with long-term ill health or a disability. This means you’ll be helping people with their PIP case, by understanding the extent to which an individual’s health conditions may impact on their daily life. You’ll benefit from comprehensive full-time training and full salary from the start, and ongoing CPD support is provided, as is revalidation and renewal of professional body registration. Job Responsibilities •Face-to-face assessments and compiling detailed medical reports •Working with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, including physical, sensory, mental health and cognitive issues •To work within a clinical environment and to carry out consultations at claimants’ homes •Ability to work autonomously and skills in report writing would be beneficial Benefits •In addition to the core benefits 25 days annual leave and private medical insurance, you also have access to: Core benefits: 25 days annual leave (plus all eight bank holidays) Private medical insurance NMC/HCPC fee reimbursement Contributory pension scheme Flexible Working Opportunities Available Full Time, Part Time, Weekend & Term time (minimum requirement of 20 hours per month).
