My client is a specialist software company who develops and supplies their leading Document Management Software which includes Accountancy and CRM Software. They supply their software to professional industry sectors such as the Finance however the software can be used by almost any business of any size. The technology is at the forefront of current trends and is proving to be very popular when demonstrated.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Field Sales Executive or Business Development Manager to join a market leader in the Document Management sector for a Business Development Professional with high earning potential for the right candidate.
The key to Field Sales Executive role is the ability to provide the best cost efficient and mission critical solutions for your clients and proactively source new accounts, develop existing accounts by building long term relationships and closing deals effectively.
The solutions they provide are innovative and require a consultative approach as the Business Development Manager will be liaising with clients from financial institutions and a range of corporate clients from multiple verticals.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager is required to be self-motivated and driven new business hunter. Whilst you will need to be a self motivated and target driven, additional support will be provided via an outbound Telesales team who will set appointments for you to demonstrate the product to clients.
* Generate new business, using the CRM tool to pro-actively market for new prospects and suspects, identify and develop new opportunities, understand client’s need and provide them with solutions.
* Maintain the highest level of quality and professionalism whist accurately qualifying prospective clients.
* Liaise with all contacts, in a professional, effective and courteous manner
* Update team members on business development / pipeline activity
* Maintain detailed and timely records and ensure best practice and highest of standards at all times
* Identify trends and suggest improvements to team processes and strategy
* Generate Quotes, Conduct Training sessions, Help in Generating Marketing Material
Candidate Requirements:
Experience
All Business Development Manager candidates must be able to demonstrate past field sales experience in a solutions based consultative environment and can demonstrate they fully understand the sales process.
Skills
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• Have a proven track record of achievement
• High level of attention to detail
• A good level of Business acumen
• Computer proficiency
• Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
In return my client offers a competitive basic package and an uncapped commission structure where based on hitting the minimum expected targets you will earn £45k pa minimum and should comfortably be able to reach £50k OTE with a generous commission paid on every license sold.The company will also provide the successful Business Development Maanger a mobile phone, laptop and generous fuel allowance.
