Girls Development Project Participation Worker
Hours: 16 hours per week
Start date: 1st July 2019
Contract End Date:31/3/2020
Salary: £ 12,879.36 p.a (pro rata)

Youth Capacity Fund, which uses money from dormant bank accounts is managed by the National Lottery Community Fund, has awarded a development grant to Girls Development Project to employ a participation worker at their project in Dagenham.

Role Summary

The participation worker will help Improve youth/client participation by developing and implementing a participation
strategy, provide practical support on participation to our staff and volunteers and help set up a youth forum.

The post holder will ensure we have systems in place to support client participation and our workforce has the skills and knowledge needed to ensure the views of children, young people and families are heard and make a difference and that participation is embedded in our culture and practice.
