We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our clients residential home in Campsey Ash, Woodbridge.

This role will involve ensuring that residents needs are met and catered to at all times as well as assisting the Senior Care Team with the smooth running of the home.

This is a full/part time role, working NIGHT or DAY shifts, at a rate of £9.20 per hour.

- £300 welcome bonus (T&C's apply)

- Accommodation available on site with competitive rates

- Mileage paid for from home to work

You will have responsibility for a shift, ensuring the effective deployment of staff by planning and organising staff and arranging cover as necessary.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering excellent care to residents at all times..
  • Undertake any other duties as required ensuring the effective, safe and smooth running of the home as requested by the Home Manager and in their absence as requested by the Deputy Manager.
  • Ensure that the home offers a warm, caring, stimulating and homely environment to all its clients which recognises their collective and individual needs and aspirations.
  • Actively demonstrate high standards of care practice to the team and ensure these standards are attained and maintained at all times.
  • Ensure that individual care plans are formulated, executed and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure residents receive the best care appropriate to their needs.
  • Order, store and prepare and/or administer medication for clients and maintain records.

In addition to a caring, patient and helpful nature you will you will need extensive experience in a social care management/team leading role, and/or relevant qualifications for the role e.g. NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
