Our client is a well establish domiciliary care provider that has a primary focus to deliver high quality care to the Norwich area.

They are looking for a Training and Support Lead to join their already successful team. Your primary duties will be as follows:-

* Deliver care worker Learning & Development Programme, City & Guilds Dementia Training, City & Guilds End of Life Training, Basic Life Support, Moving & Handling Training and Medication Training

* Manage care worker completion of the Care Certificate

* Train CG’s on specialist areas e.g. stoma care, catheter care, eye drops, medication patches etc.

* Deliver training/coaching support at client properties where appropriate

* Manage ongoing care worker competence assessment. Identify staff development requirements and implement learning and development actions / personal development plan

* Organise and undertake staff support meetings and support visits in line with Home Instead and CQC requirements.

* Support the delivery of new tools to improve learning outcomes

* Complete back to work interviews following sickness

* Support performance management and disciplinary activities with care worker where performance is not meeting requirements.

* Participate in the office on-call rota

Person Profile

Essential

* Experience of delivering training

* Experience of coaching and supervising staff

* Awareness of employment laws and regulation

* Organised with excellent time management

* IT literate (MS Word, Excel, BOSS)

* Team player and able to work on own initiative

* Can participate in on-call rota

* Is flexible with work hours as occasional evening and weekend work will be required

* Positive, outgoing personality

* Car driver and owner

* Lives in or near Norwich (ideally within postcodes NR1 to NR8)

Desirable

* NVQ 3 and PTTLS qualified or equivalent
