Your new role
- PA support including diary management for Partners and Fee Earners; setting up of meetings, arranging travel, booking attendance at events and accommodation
- Extensive typing and document production, including dictation
- Managing and co-ordinating own daily workflow in support of Fee Earners
- Initial drafting of correspondence as required
- Assisting in maintaining compliant and accurate file management systems, including client care letters, audits and file reviews
- Billing and payments
- Undertaking searches
- Downloading documents from the Land Registry
- Dealing with post-completion matters
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a bright and dynamic Legal Support Assistant (Legal PA/Secretary), providing support for the reputable Real Estate team in the Exeter office. LSA's are integral to the success of their business, providing Fee Earners with essential and pro-active support. You will be line managed by a Legal Support Co-ordinator who has in-depth knowledge of the role and will support you in the work required for the department.
Experience as a Legal Secretary and/or PA is essential, ideally within Property. You must be equipped with excellent typing skills, the ability to manage your own workload, attention to detail, good organisational skills and excellent communication skills. You will be dedicated to a career in Legal Support and passionate about providing a high quality service to both Fee Earners and external clients
