Actual Salary per annum £13,242 - £13,984 gross
32.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week

Come and join our growing team and be part of the successful Rightforsuccess Trust.  Eaton Hall Specialist Academy has an Ofsted rating of Outstanding for the last ten years.

The Academy is a residential special school for boys in the age range 7 16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The Academy runs a very strong staff support and development programme. The successful candidates will be reliable, persistent and loyal, with a good sense of humour and strength of character.  The academy is looking for people who have a variety of interests outside the curriculum that would lend themselves to leading activities with children.

Eaton Hall Specialist Academy is also seeking to appoint a teaching assistant. The academy teaches pupils from primary through to secondary and therefore it is important in your application to state the age range you prefer to work with. There is availability in both areas as the academy staff are flexible as to the areas that they support. This type of flexibility helps with achieving promoted posts.

Many of our teaching assistants in recent years have successfully secured places on initial teacher training through our Norwich Teaching School Alliance.

The Teaching Assistant post will be 32.5 hours per week.

These positions are permanent and are required for term time only plus 5 training days. The weeks worked are 39 weeks; therefore payment is pro rata over 12 equal monthly payments per year.

The successful applicants must be prepared to undergo any further training as requested by the Trust and will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service. This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations, therefore you will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether disqualified under these regulations.

The postholder will need to be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing in order to undertake the requirements of the role.

Further information about the Academy can be found on our website: www.eatonhallacademy.co.uk  or by contacting Mr K. Bates Head of School on 01603 457480.

A visit to the Academy (by appointment) is encouraged.
For an application pack for these positions please contact HR Department on 01603 937303 or email: recruitment@rightforsuccess.co.uk

Closing date:       9am Friday 23rd November 2018
Interview dates:   Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th December 2018
(Candidates will be expected to attend both days)

This Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations, therefore successful candidates will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether disqualified under these regulations. Applicants must be prepared to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and attend a Warner Interview. Right to Work in the UK will need to be established. We are an equal opportunities employer.
