LAUNCH DIAGNOSTICS Ltd, independent distributor of diagnostic reagents and instruments, are recruiting a Commercial and Administrative Assistant to support the commercial team and manage the administrative aspects of the company.

As a Commercial and Administrative Assistant, you must have an ability to understand commercial terms and have a background in working with commercial teams previously, and you must be bilingual French/English.

This work will be based in New Ash Green (Longfield), Kent.

Main Responsibilities:

Commercial Department support

  • Management of orders and invoices: process orders, and follow them up with customers and France & Benelux
  • Management of the customer database and contacts
  • Management of the LD SAS team sales support
  • Preparation of letters and other documents
  • Management of the stock
  • Referencing and filing the quotes
  • Mailing the customers
  • Management the debt recovery
  • Preparation of the Sales statistics
  • Management of the follow up of the Free of Charge products
  • Assisting in the CRM implementation
  • Assisting the Marketing Services Manager with the Marketing tools supply
  • Maintaining and developing the filing systems, databases and processes

Administrative Department Support

  • Administrative management of tenders and the tender database
  • Administrative support for the FRBNL team
  • Management of LD SAS general administration
  • Logistics management: support shipment, booking hotels and travels, organisation of congresses
  • Assist the General Manager in Sales Meetings organisation
  • Liaise the Sales Office with Accountants
  • Translation of administrative documents
  • To provide ad-hoc administrative support

Skills/Knowledge

The following attributes are considered essential for the job:

  1. Commercial / sales / marketing experience
  2. Bilingual French/English
  3. Able to work on own initiative - A confident self-starter
  4. Able to prioritise the workload
  5. Possess excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills, both over the telephone and personally
  6. Excellent Team working skills
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  8. Experience of working with customers
  9. Well organised and attention to detail
