Salary £17,000 to £18,000 dependent on experience


Sales Order Processor / Customer Service Assistant Munchy Seeds are a successful and well established company based in Leiston. They are currently recruiting for a Sales Order Processor / Customer Service Assistant to play a vital part in their team.


Munchy Seeds have a busy, family run manufacturing site in Leiston, Suffolk, and specialise in the blending, flavouring and roasting of healthy seed snacks.

Working as the Sales Order Processor / Customer Service Assistant you will report directly to the owners of the business and will be responsible for managing all processing, packing & despatching of their internet and trade orders, representing the brand at trade shows, liaising with bloggers and carrying out general administration duties in the office.

The main duties of the Sales Order Processor / Customer Service Assistant include:

  • Using Sage 50 to import orders from the website on a daily basis, input telephone and trade orders, and raise customer invoices.
  • Responding to customer enquires via email and telephone.
  • Providing support to the marketing team to help formulate promotions, providing sales support at trade exhibitions and representing the brand at tasting & sampling sessions.
  • Looking after walk-in customers.
  • Liaising with the production supervisor to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained.
  • Updating products, prices and stock levels on the website.
  • Managing stationery supplies, posting letters, general filing, and answering calls when others are busy.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a fun & vibrant business. As the successful Sales Order Processor / Customer Service Assistant you must have an eye for detail, good organisational & time management skills, as well as a confident & polite telephone manner.


Due to the location of the business in Leiston, this role would be ideal if you have access to a car.


You must also have good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word), ideally Sage 50 experience, WordPress, scanning documents and updating images & text on a website. You will have the chance to generate new ideas and contribute to the continuing success of the company.
