Administration Assistant Antistat is Europes No.1 supplier of static shielding bags and moisture barrier protection.  We are currently looking for a full time, permanent Administration Assistant in our End User / Trade Distribution Division in Bury St Edmunds. This Administration Assistant should have a high attention to detail with professional written and verbal skills.

As an Administration Assistant you will be reporting to the Corporate Business Manager and be responsible for:

  • Sales order entries within agreed time frames, providing timely order confirmations to customers.
  • Ensure delivery notes are processed within agreed timelines for all accounts under specified Division.
  • Provide weekly updates to customers on outstanding order reports and pallet shipment sheets in an agreed format.
  • Provide the sales team with customer queries support, including delivery discrepancies, lead-time queries and any telephone enquiries.
  • Supporting the sales team with quote templates and preparation as requested.
  • Support the sales team with vulnerable order report updates on a weekly basis.
  • Maintaining CRM System and keeping account details up to date.
  • Ensures electronic and manual filing is maintained and accurate.
  • Arrange Proforma Invoices and acquire payment details when necessary.
  • Respond to and provide POD requests as required.
  • Respond to delivery exceptions and inform customers of delays / updates where required.
  • Advise Sales Manager of any equipment or building functional issues.
  • Conducts professional customer enquiry handling in a positive and informative manner maintaining high levels of customer service.

We are looking for candidates who are experienced within a similar role and have a strong understanding of customer base and market dynamics / requirements.

This is a full time, permanent position with a competitive salary depending on experience. The hours being Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. In return we are offering a competitive salary with the opportunity to be part of the group sales incentives of £100 per quarter upon admin figures being achieved. We also offer 20 days holiday pro rata plus bank holidays.
