Finance Assistant

Norwich

Salary Negotiable depending on experience  

Finance Assistant NES Healthcare are an award-winning market leader in the provision of managed doctor services. We are now looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team based in Norwich. As the Finance Assistant you will have Sage Line 50 experience, VAT knowledge and payroll experience, in return we are offering a competitive salary based on experience.

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing sales invoices in Sage, E-mailing to Doctors & updating internal control spreadsheets which includes identifying collection periods using internal database
  • Analysing & recording credit card spend & updating VAT records & sage
  • Maintaining & reconciling Debtor spreadsheets in different formats and reconciling to Sage
  • Maintaining substantial Holiday Pay Control Spreadsheet
  • Preparing Cost summary for Payroll from supplied timesheet summary
  • Assisting with Payroll enquiries received
  • Coding and inputting authorised Supplier Purchase Invoices into Sage and VAT control spread sheet
  • Growing and developing as an important member of the team and assist in the development of our systems and procedures to improve the integrity and timeliness of the finance function. 

For the role of Finance Assistant, we are looking for someone with the following skillset:

  • Strong Excel experience
  • Sage Line 50 experience, is essential
  • Proficient at working within a database (bespoke software)
  • Good VAT knowledge (Partially Exempt registration)
  • Payroll experience (Star Payroll-Training will be provided)
  • Part qualified or qualified by experience
  • Good time management and prioritisation abilities are essential. 

This is a full-time permanent role with office hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. In return, for the right candidate, we are offering a competitive salary and are willing to assist with course feed for relevant training and/ or necessary CPD training .
