Full Job Description
- Conduct research on machine learning and signal processing methods for wearable systems, with a focus on sleep health and related physiological monitoring
- Analyse multimodal wearable and mobile sensor data, and develop algorithms for modelling sleep-related outcomes
- Design and run experiments to evaluate methods, compare approaches, and assess robustness on real-world datasets
- Contribute to research pipelines, technical documentation, and presentations of findings to the team
Currently enrolled in a Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, or a related field Strong background in machine learning, statistical modelling, signal processing, or time-series analysis Experience working with wearable, physiological, or other sensor-based data (such as PPG, IMU, …) Strong programming skills in Python Hands-on experience with machine learning and data analysis tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, or similar Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating models or algorithms on real-world datasets Ability to work independently on research-oriented problems and to communicate results clearly - Flexible and hybrid working schemes

We are looking for Masters/PhD-level summer interns to join us in Cambridge (UK), working on wearable intelligence for sleep health. The internships will focus on multimodal wearable sensing, physiological signal analysis, and machine learning for sleep-related modelling.
