Ward Clerk (part-time)

This is an exciting opportunity to recruit a full time Ward Clerk to work within the Children's Clinic at Blackpool Teaching hospital. This post is for a full time, permanent contract working Monday - Friday. Children's Clinic is part of the Child Health & Development Directorate helping to support acutely unwell children of the surrounding area., Deliver efficient administrative and clerical services to the Clinic Team.

Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, and staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the ward, thereby enhancing patient care.

Ensure all information is secure, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Provide excellent customer service, which may involve communicating with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy.

Ensure the professional image of the Trust is upheld at all times.
