Ward Administrator

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team on Courtlands Ward, a busy 17 bedded acute cardiac ward, with a dedicated, enthusiastic inclusive team, to work as a ward administrator. The successful candidate will be a flexible, friendly and compassionate, and will have excellent organisational and communication skills., The Ward Administrator is responsible for ensuring the administrative and clerical work related to patient care is competently managed. They provide effective day-to-day clerical support tofacilitate the smooth running of the ward alongside the ward manager and seniorcolleagues. This job role covers clerical duties meeting and greeting staff, patientsand visitors, answering the telephone and dealing with all enquires in a calm and professional manner adhering to our Trust Values and Behaviours.The Ward Administrator needs to be IT literate and willing to learn how to use the Trust systems to input, update and monitor patient confidential information.
