enables us to provide the best advice and insights to our clients.ResponsibilitiesThe Restructuring and Special Situations Group advises large companies, governments and creditor groups in financially distressed situations. The group has been involved in most of the largest and most high-profile reorganizations that have occurred in the last decade. In a restructuring transaction, a wide range of strategic advisory services are provided, including advice on recapitalizations, reorganizations, corporate valuations, exchange offers, distressed mergers and acquisitions and raising debt and equity capital. VPs in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group have the opportunity to develop a diverse and broad corporate finance skill set. Financial restructuring transactions are complex and involve multi-party negotiations with a number of key stakeholders including, among others, the board of directors, management, secured and unsecured lenders and equity holders.Helping to lead the
origination and execution of restructuring transactions across our platformFrequent senior-level interaction with clients and investorsDeveloping detailed business plansDeveloping strategies to implement various restructuring transactionsEvaluating financial returns to current and potential investorsAttending key client negotiating and strategy sessionsManaging complex and often time-sensitive restructuring transactions from start to finishParticipating in both internal and external client meetings, negotiation of contracts and other agreements, and due diligence sessionsQualificationsAt least 6 years of work experience in corporate concentrated in restructuring, leveraged & acquisition finance or creditFluency in English is requiredBachelor's or Masters degreeStrong qualitative and analytical skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to run client meetings and coordinate deal executionStrong written and presentation skillsA desire to work in a team environment, often under tight
