Provide high-quality care in Trauma & Orthopaedics across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings Participate in daily trauma meetings, ward rounds, fracture clinics, and theatre lists Assess and manage acute trauma patients, including polytrauma, under consultant supervision Assist in operative procedures and develop surgical skills appropriate to ST3 level Participate in the on-call rota for Trauma & Orthopaedics Contribute to teaching of junior doctors and medical students Engage in clinical audit, research, and quality improvement projects Barts Health supports The Pregnancy Loss Pledge and commits to supporting their staff through the distress of miscarriage. To provide evidence-based care for all inpatients and outpatients and to work flexibly to the prescribed rota to support the service, including inpatient and outpatient duties.To have regard at all times to the clinical and quality standards set out in the NHS Plan, Your Guide to the NHS, and purchaser agreements.To participate fully in the management of the Department and to liaise closely with the Lead Clinicians for Orthopaedics and Trauma, General Manager and Clinical Director.The post holder may be required to carry out other duties in emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.The duties outlined are not definitive and may be changed in accordance with needs of the service requiring the post holder to be cooperative and flexible.

We are seeking highly motivated and committed Trust Grade Doctors (ST3 Equivalent) in Trauma & Orthopaedics to join our team at the Royal London Hospital, a major trauma centre with a national and international reputation for excellence. This post offers an exciting opportunity to gain extensive experience in the management of complex trauma and elective orthopaedic conditions within a busy tertiary referral centre. Experience in a Major Trauma Centre with high-volume and complex case exposure Opportunities to develop operative and decision-making skills at ST3 level Structured teaching programme and access to simulation training Study leave and opportunities for research and audit.,
