Full Job Description

The role of the Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care department is to facilitate a safe, person centred and confidential service of spiritual and religious care that enables patients, their families and friends and members of staff to explore and negotiate their experience of life, illness, injury, loss or stress so that they can begin to find strength, support and meaning within it.

The post holder will be responsible for the spiritual, pastoral and faith care needs of patients and staff within Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, and a collaborative member of the chaplaincy team in fulfilling the goal of providing person-cantered spiritual and pastoral care to all patients, visitors and staff, irrespective of their religion or belief in line with best practice.
