Full Job Description
The post holder will provide leadership and supervisory skills to enable the Training plan block element of the sexual health contract to meet its agreed aims and objectives within an efficient, safe and effective working environment. To help maintain an efficient and committed team within a developing corporate ethos.
To play an active part as a team member in providing both admin support and co-ordination of timetables for the clinical team delivering the training.
The post holder will act as the first point of contact for all training enquires from internal and external colleagues and patients.
To support the clinical team in delivering the training plan programme across sexual health and primary care. To carry out reports and administration duties including booking trainees in to placements and managing the waiting list for training placements. Please see Job Description
The Blackpool and Lancashire Sexual Health Service provide expert advice, guidance and treatment on all aspects of sexual health.
This includes sexually transmitted infections, HIV and contraception such as pills, injections, implants and coils. Our team of doctors and nurses provide Sexual Health Services across Blackpool and Lancashire. They deal with a variety of sexual health related conditions, providing testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI's), including HIV, in line with national guidelines., The post holder will provide leadership and supervisory skills to enable the training programme to meet its agreed aims and objectives within an efficient, safe and effective working environment.
