Open to nurses, paramedics and physiotherapists.FT/PT (not less than 30 hours a week) Substantive post.You must hold a current qualification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Care Practitioner and evidence of clinical practice and an independent practitioner in an ED/WIC/UTC type setting to be eligible to apply.The Emergency Department at UCLH set out a clear workforce strategy for the next 3-5 years in 2019 which includes the development of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner workforce. Over the last three years we have developed an innovative training programme for our four current Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners (tACPs) led by our ED consultant nurse, Robert Pinate, supported by two Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) credentialed ACPs.RCEM launched its ACP curriculum in 2015; aspiring ACPs now have a clear and defined portfolio of practice to support their development and progress to credentialing by the RCEM.What we can offer:o Assigned consultant
educational/clinical supervisor.o Assigned RCEM Credentialed ACP clinical supervision and support.o Structured approach on a roster basis to working in all areas of the department, Resus, Majors, Urgent Care and Paediatrics (for those trainees who care for children)o Trust support to develop your procedural skills as set out in the curriculum., We are now seeking to recruit to ACP or tACP posts as follows
