Trainee Applications Engineer

As a Trainee Applications Engineer, you will learn to support the delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion. With guidance and mentoring, you'll be involved in: · Supporting engineers with the delivery of live projects · Assisting with quotations, costings, and project documentation · Learning how commercial elements like costs, variations, and invoicing are managed · Assisting with design work using software such as AutoCAD and SEE Electrical · Supporting procurement and working with suppliers · Maintaining accurate project and contract records · Attending site visits to see how your work comes to life · Communicating with customers as your confidence grows · Learning how to work safely and follow industry-leading SHEQ standards. Responsibilities will increase progressively as your skills and confidence develop.Apprenticeship You will complete the Engineering Manufacturing Technician (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) Apprenticeship - Level 4, which combines: · College-based learning (day release). · Practical, workplace based training. · Ongoing mentoring and support from experienced engineers. · Development of technical, commercial, and professional competence.

We're looking for someone who is: · Interested in engineering, contracts, and how projects are delivered commercially. · Able to work as part of a team. · Motivated to learn and build a long term career with Actemium ICS. · Organised, reliable, and keen to take responsibility. · Comfortable working with numbers and technical information. · A good communicator with a professional attitude. · Willing to travel to customer's sites · Well organised with a high level of attention to detail · Committed to completing a Level 4 apprenticeship.Qualifications · GCSEs - English, Maths and Science at a grade 9 - 4 or A
