Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the University's central Financial Accounting team, playing a key role in delivering the annual TRAC return and shaping how costing data supports decision making across teaching and research. Working closely with the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity to build specialist expertise in TRAC while helping improve how financial insight is understood and used across the University. This is a role with real scope to make an impact. You will be encouraged to bring curiosity, challenge existing ways of working and help shape how costing information is developed, communicated and used across the institution.,
- Developing and maintaining costing and pricing models for internal decision-making and external reporting
- Analysing and interpreting complex financial data to produce clear, accessible insight
- Producing the University's annual TRAC return
- Working with senior stakeholders and presenting information to committees and oversight groups
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and the overall use of costing information
- Contributing to wider financial control activity, including statutory returns and continuous improvement initiatives
