Full Job Description
Sidbury C of E Primary School are seeking an inspirational Primary School Teacher to join our dedicated school team. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and helping every child to flourish. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged - please email the school office to arrange a tour., As a Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Teachers' Standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and teaching engaging lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
- Leading by example to secure high standards of behaviour, motivation and achievement
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, using data to inform planning and target-setting
- Reporting to parents and contributing to school improvement processes
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues across the school
- Contributing to performance management, training, and whole-school initiatives
- Upholding school values, behaviour expectations and community ethos
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who can bring positivity, professionalism and a strong commitment to children's learning. Essential attributes include: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT
- Recent successful teaching experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Strong behaviour management skills and understanding of high-quality teaching and learning
- Ability to teach pupils of all abilities and use ICT effectively in lessons
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community Desirable attributes include:
- Experience leading a curriculum area
- Excellent ICT skills and ability to contribute to policy development
- Experience teaching across multiple primary key stages
- Ability to organise extra-curricular activities
