Full Job Description

  • Offer day-to-day support to residents with mental health conditions in a residential setting.
  • Assist with personal care, medication management, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Support residents in developing their independence, social skills, and confidence.
  • Provide one-to-one and group activities that promote mental and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement person-centred care plans.
  • Record and monitor residents' progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
  • Encourage residents to engage in community activities and support them in accessing local services.

    Previous experience in a similar role, working with individuals with mental health conditions (desired but not essential).
  • A compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and independence for residents.
