Full Job Description

  • Working as part of a team to provide secretarial support to the Radiology Department
  • Working across all specialties to ensure timely despatch of Radiology reports to General Practitioners and Consultants on a timely basis.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Support Medical Secretary to join our expanding team in the Radiology Department.
  • It is expected that applicants will have appropriate experience of working in a medical environment and also demonstrate a background of working in an office environment with the ability to liaise with all the relevant departments within the Trust. Being a team player is essential together with first-rate organisational skills.

    The Secretary of State has approved the partnership between St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals. From 1stJuly we have come together as a single organisation under the name Mersey & West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
