Full Job Description
The main duties of this post is to provide medical input to the Older Adult CMHT predominantly and some clinical input into the MAS Team. The requirement is for both direct care and advice/consultancy to members of the team, GPs and other practitioners.
The setting in which patients are seen reflects their needs. The post holder will be expected to adopt a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to patient care according to the principles of new ways of working., Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust are proud of our fantastic SAS Development Programme, which is a great source of development for our Doctors. We have an active SAS Forum which meets on a regular basis to discuss operational and professional issues to support SAS/Specialty Doctors.
To be eligible to apply for this post, you must possess at least 3 year's experience in psychiatry and be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice. Ideally, you will be Section 12 Approved, or eligible for approval at the time of commencing employment.
