You'll take ownership of frontend features end-to-end - from scoping and building to shipping and iterating - using technologies like React, TypeScript and Next.js. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across global teams, contributing not just to delivery but to how the team works and grows. These are some of the key components to the position:Collaborate extensively
with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine ideas and deliver innovative solutions across various team boundariesContribute to technical discussions and help shape the direction of features within your teamParticipate in the technical exploration and prototyping of new features and technologies, transforming ambiguous concepts into tangible softwareAdhere to JET-wide architecture best practice and contribute to improvements in team standardsBuild and maintain a strong network outside of your immediate team and across the organisationPursue ongoing personal development by learning from teammates and applying this knowledge to benefit the team and enhance the applicationsWhat will you bring to the team?Strong frontend development experience, ideally with React or Vue applicationsGood understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern JS tooling/frameworks such as Next.js, Redux Saga, Reselect and TypeScript Demonstrable experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks
such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress and React Testing LibraryWorking knowledge of Node.js and Express for server-side renderingFamiliarity with WCAG standards, CSS pre-processors/CSS frameworks, and responsive UI developmentExperience with Webpack 5 and Module Federation for micro-frontend architecture is a plusNice to have: basic understanding of cloud services, preferably AWS; experience with Azure or GCP is also valued.At JET, this is how we play Our teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.
