- Assist in developing and maintaining front-end or full-stack applications
- Contribute to coding, testing, and debugging banking software solutions
- Participate in agile development processes and team meetings
- Help implement user interface improvements for savings and loan products
- Support integration of front-end components with back-end services
- Assist with code reviews and documentation
- Learn about regulated banking technology systems and infrastructure
Ideal for students with C# experience and an interest in retail banking applications., Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technology discipline - Strong programming skills with preference for C# experience
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks)
- Understanding of software development lifecycles
- Demonstrable interest in retail banking and financial technology
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work in the office 4-5 days per week in Southwark
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK Desirable Skills:
- Experience with .NET framework
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Understanding of version control systems (Git)
- Interest in user experience and interface design
- Appreciation for mutual/community-focused financial services
Duration: Flexible internship duration available based on candidate's academic commitments and availability. Compensation: Competitive annual salary ranging from £24,000 to £25,000, commensurate with skills and experience. Development Opportunities: This internship provides hands-on experience in developing technology solutions for a regulated UK bank. You'll gain valuable skills working with industry professionals on real-world banking applications while developing expertise in C# and related technologies.
