Social Worker - Supporting Change Team

Are you a qualified social worker who wants to work differently with families, supporting them to make change by working collaboratively with families and their allocated case responsible worker?, We are a forward-thinking, systemic, supportive Local Authority that is looking for an experienced social worker to join our Supporting Change Team. If you are passionate about working within a whole family systemic approach to help families navigate and reduce their presenting risks so that they can remain a family unit, without having case management responsibility, then this is the role for you.

By undertaking therapeutic direct work sessions with families, the role aims to engage families in time-limited intensive packages of support to assist families in making positive sustainable change. The service is committed to working utilising systemic, strength-based approaches to build relationships and strengthen resilience within the family unit.

Applicants should ideally have skills and experience in therapeutically orientated work and take the lead with projects with partner agencies that relate to children remaining safely at home.
