Skilled Hygiene Operator (Nights)

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Hygiene Operative - Multi Skilled to join our Hygiene Team. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operation, ensuring our factory and production equipment are cleaned and maintained to the highest hygiene and food safety standards. What You'll Be Doing As part of our Hygiene team, you will:

• Carry out deep cleaning tasks across the factory
• Dismantle and clean machinery and equipment safely and effectively
• Pressure wash and sanitise production areas to required hygiene standards
• Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals following COSHH and safety procedures
• Prepare machinery and electrical components for cleaning activities
• Ensure production areas are ready for operations without delays
• Complete hygiene documentation accurately and on time
• Replenish chemicals and maintain cleaning equipment
• Report defects, spillages, or safety concerns promptly
• Support and train colleagues and new starters when required
• Follow all Health & Safety, GMP, and food hygiene procedures at all times
  
  Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• A good level of spoken and written English
• Food Safety Level 2
• Health & Safety Level 2
• COSHH Awareness
• Previous hygiene or food manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of production environments
  
  Salary: £14.90 per hour (plus overtime outside of normal shift)
