Site Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Freelance Commercial Groundworks Site Manager to manage a commercial groundworks package on a project based in Teeside. This role is offered on a CIS or Ltd Company basis and provides a long-term contract for the right individual. The Role: You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the groundworks package is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site groundworks activities from start to completion
• Oversee drainage, foundations, services, concrete works, and external works
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, RAMS, and site procedures
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and client teams
• Maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and daily briefings
  
  Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial groundworks projects
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification
• Strong understanding of groundworks sequencing and site logistics
• Ability to manage busy, fast-paced construction sites
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
