The Executive Support Team is looking for a dynamic individual to provide comprehensive and personal support to 2 x Assistant Directors and 1 x Head of Service of Gloucestershire County Council.

By joining our Executive Support Team, you'll be joining a team of supportive, knowledgeable and passionate individuals who all work together for the same desired outcome.

The role will include providing high-level, proactive administrative support to senior managers, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service. Responsibilities will include diary and inbox management, handling enquiries, preparing documents and presentations, organising meetings and events, taking minutes and action notes, maintaining accurate records and data systems, supporting financial administration, and assisting with projects, research and process improvements. The post holder will also be expected to deliver excellent customer service, work confidentially, and contribute to consistent administrative standards across the team.

Successful candidates will be organised and proactive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people. You will have experience of providing high-quality administrative support, managing competing priorities, and working confidently with Microsoft Office and other systems. You will be comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion, have strong attention to detail, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
