Senior Specialist Dietitian (Paediatric Allergy)

The post holder should have specialist knowledge to confidently provide dietetic input for infants, children and young people with food allergies, attending our ever-expanding outpatient allergy service. You will provide an innovative, patient focused and evidence-based service, and as part of this role you will cover a mix of MDT clinics, Dietitian and CNS-led clinics and Dietitian-led clinics. We have weekly MDT meetings where we are able to discuss specific patients, but also to learn from each other and find way to constantly improve our service and make it the best it can be.

We are looking for an experienced Band 7 Dietitian with existing paediatric allergy experience, to substantively join our dynamic and friendly paediatric allergy team here at UCLH in a 0.40wte post to cover a 24 months career break.

You should have strong leadership skills, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively within teams and be able to manage your time effectively in a busy and exciting outpatient allergy service.

As part of our paediatric dietetics team, you will provide cover for colleagues, as appropriate, and benefit from supervision and support from a dedicated line manager.
