Full Job Description

  • Support the successful delivery of a large monthly payroll for a secure account.
  • Process payroll-related data accurately and on time, ensuring a high standard of quality and control.
  • Handle worker, supplier and client queries relating to payroll, onboarding and compliance.
  • Carry out right to work and new starter compliance activity, onboarding and offboarding tasks.
  • Maintain records and update relevant systems, including payroll and vendor management processes.
  • Provide support across invoicing, self-billing, purchase order updates and credit control activity.
  • Work closely with the wider payroll and compliance team to maintain continuity and reduce operational risk.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, strengthen controls and enhance the way the team works., This role sits within a government aligned environment, which means successful candidates will need to go through a security clearance process.

  • Experience working with payroll data and time-sensitive processing activity.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle queries professionally and clearly.
  • Good Excel and systems capability.
  • Understanding of compliance processes such as right to work, onboarding and worker documentation.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the confidence to take responsibility and support others.
