Full Job Description

  • For this role it is essential that you have previous or current Acute Hospital or Primarycare experience
  • Care Certificate from an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation (Theory & Practical), We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, experienced nursing assistants. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Teamwork is very important to us - you will be joining a committed team across the trust so being a team player is essential. We really value our Nursing Assistants' role in our ability to provide holistic care to our patients. You will need a flexible approach, be dedicated and able to role model an excellent level of patient care and experience.We actively support the buddy programme and other opportunities to develop further. To be part of our Senior Nursing Assistant (Band 3) team, we would like you to have the following qualifications:
  • Experience in a hospital setting
  • GSCE Maths and English Desirable
  • Good standard of literacy and numerical skills is essential
  • NVQ III in Healthcare and or a completed Full Care Certificate Programme which is an essential criterion for this role
  • A calm and kind approach
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills in caring for complex patients with medical conditions.
