Full Job Description

Are you a confident, registered clinician ready to support young people and families as part of the Early Intervention offer for mental health services?,

  • Carry out high-quality, needs-led mental health assessments and treatment interventions for children and young people within an early intervention framework.
  • Work collaboratively with internal CAMHS teams and external agencies such as schools, healthcare providers, and local authorities to ensure joined-up, effective support.
  • Provide consultation, training, and supervision to colleagues and other professionals to support early identification and timely intervention in young people's mental health.
  • Contribute to service development and clinical governance through audits, evidence-based resource creation, research activity, and quality assurance processes.

    You'll be registered in a relevant field such as nursing, occupational therapy or social work, with strong communication skills and an understanding of CAMHS. Experience in multi-agency working is key.

    The Getting help and MHSTs are managed through the CAMHS service to provide 'getting help' as identified within the iThrive model of CAMHS. Developing MHSTs are a key part of the Oxford Health's Long-Term Plan for Children & Young People., Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provides physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset.
