Full Job Description
As a key member of our global Center of Excellence (CoE), you will be responsible for leading and communicating our global approach to total reward, health, and welfare. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Convatec deploys effective reward and benefit programs to attract, retain, and motivate talented individuals across all our markets. This includes:
- Embedding and maintaining the Global Reward Framework: You will be the custodian of our global reward framework, ensuring it aligns with our business growth strategy and enables us to attract and retain top talent. This involves:
- Equipping regional reward partners and HR teams to champion our job architecture framework.
- Providing training and communication to managers on grading and pay structures.
- Reviewing and updating pay benchmarking tools and salary ranges.
- Ensuring pay equity and transparency across the organization.
- Overseeing global health and welfare benefits in partnership with regional teams.
- Leading the Annual Compensation Review: You will manage the annual compensation review process, collaborating with finance, HR, and regional teams to:
- Gather and analyze external market data.
- Develop budget recommendations.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to senior leadership for compensation decisions.
- Ensure system functionality and training for stakeholders.
- Lead global training and communications on compensation decisions.
- Review and analyze pay review outcomes.
- Driving Incentive Plans: You will oversee the design and implementation of incentive plans, including our Global Incentive Plan (GIP), ensuring they are competitive, fair, and aligned with our business strategy. This involves:
- Partnering with finance to budget and monitor incentive plan progress.
- Engaging participants and communicating plan details effectively.
- Reviewing and monitoring eligibility for various incentive programs.
- Collaborating with CoSec on long-term incentive plans, including RSUs and LTIPs.
- Driving enhanced reporting and ownership of key processes.
- Ensuring Corporate Governance: You will support the Chief People Officer and VP of Total Rewards & Recognition in ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements. This includes:
- Drafting papers for senior leadership, Remuneration Committee, and Board meetings.
- Partnering with Remco advisors and CoSec to meet all relevant requirements.
- Supporting the business with external reporting requirements related to reward.
Proven Expertise: You have a proven track record of managing employee reward and benefits at a global level, including experience with engagement strategies, vendor management, and competitive benchmarking. - Strong Leadership: You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent Communication: You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Financial Acumen: You are able to manage a budget effectively, ensuring competitive employee offerings while maintaining financial governance.
- Global Mindset: You have experience working in a global organization with a matrix structure.
- Analytical Skills: You have experience analyzing and applying survey and benchmarking data.
- Job Architecture Expertise: You possess strong working knowledge and experience in embedding and managing job architecture and grading systems across a global organization, including experience with job evaluation methodologies.
- Regional Knowledge: You have knowledge of regional compensation practices and local pay legislation.
- Prioritization Skills: You are able to prioritize and manage work effectively in a busy global environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Approach: Experience with Workday and a data-driven mindset are highly desirable.
