Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and proactive health care assistant to join the Emergency Department within the Emergency Services Group.

The role includes supporting trained nursing staff with patient assessment and management while delivering high standards of care.

The role is fast paced and requires excellent communication skills along with a team working attitude.

The successful applicant would provide support to clinicians in supporting assessments undertaking simple clinical and therapeutic procedures such as taking clinical observations, obtaining samples, catheter care and venepuncture as well as responding to ad hoc care requests from patients attending the unit and other members of the MDT.
