SEN Teaching Assistant

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with Autism who finds it challenging to access the mainstream classroom environment. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help the child engage with learning, develop social skills, and regulate their emotions throughout the school day., Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Delivering phonics-based learning activities
- Supporting emotional regulation using sensory approaches
- Encouraging positive engagement with learning and social interactions
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and parents where required
