Security & HSE Officer

We are seeking an experienced Security & HSE Officer to provide security services including mobile activities for the organisation. As a Security & HSE Officer you will also be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to any security concerns., What would I be doing as a Security & HSE Officer at 4Com?

• Regularly inspect and patrol all areas of the premises, including the car park, to maintain security and safety standards.
• Operate and analyse CCTV surveillance systems to detect and address any unusual activity or incidents.
• Acting on and reporting any suspicious behaviours and happenings, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
• Be a key member of the Fire team and First aid team and assist in weekly fire alarm tests and moving forward be a named key holder for emergency call outs.
• Monitoring the front of house as well as securing and monitoring all exit points to prevent unauthorised access.
• Enforcing safety measures and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures to uphold a secure environment for everyone on the premises.
• Authorising the entrance of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

• Previous experience in a security role with a strong health and safety awareness.
• Have an understanding of Microsoft platforms such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Valid SIA approved security qualification.
• Thorough attention to detail, with excellent concentration skills.
• The ability to be vigilant and alert, being aware of surroundings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• The ability to remain patient and calm under pressure
