Full Job Description

· Make sure that hygiene standards are maintained at the highest quality. Clean all work areas after work is done, always maintaining a clean kitchen.

· Ensure that all baked goods are properly weighted, mixed, baked, and cooled according to standard recipes.

· Strong knowledge of baking techniques, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

· Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation procedures. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

· Responsible for consistency in the baking production, making sure that all products that we sell are of a consistent high quality and of uniform shape and appearance where possible.

· Make sure that stock and ingredients are looked after, stored correctly, and reordered when necessary. Also inform the manager of any changes that need to be made to ordering quantities.

· Keep on top of your share of administrative tasks and record keeping, as well as making sure your team do the same (e.g. fridge temp records).

· You check the production schedule every day to determine type and quantity of goods to bake.

· You are comfortable with mixing, fermenting, scaling, shaping, and baking dough to the highest standard.

· Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

· Be a Team Player who always brings a positive attitude to the workplace with great communication skills.

· Work as a team member with co-workers to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.,
